Biography
Michael A. DeVita, MD, brings with him more than 35 years of medical experience as an intensivist, and is a renowned innovator and promoter of rapid response systems. He is an author of over 100 peer-reviewed articles and dozens of textbook chapters in the fields of rapid response, critical care, simulation education, and ethics. He is also the lead editor of the groundbreaking “Textbook of Rapid Response Systems.” which is in its second edition. Dr. DeVita joined EarlySense in 2017 to continue his decades-long mission of creating a standard of care for continuous monitoring in all healthcare settings. In addition to his role as EarlySense’s CMO, he also serves as the Medical Director of Critical Care at Harlem Hospital in New York City.
