Avner Avissara

Biography

 Avner Avissara joined Enzymotec in May 2014 as Regional Director of China and Asia Pacific. He was nominated as the CEO of Advanced Lipids, Enzymotec Joint Venture with AAK Sweden and as the Head of the Infant Nutrition Business of Enzymotec. Mr. Avissara has over 20 years’ experience in the Pharma industry, where he was managing Teva Clinical Nutrition business in Israel and later becoming one of the key pillars establishing Teva Pharmaceutical International business in Central Eastern Europe, Balkan, Africa and additional regions. He specialized in the establishment of new businesses and led the growth of the organizations through various business models, he operated in a multi-cultural and diversified region. Mr. Avissara was engaged in M&A’s activities in the regions from due diligence processes to being the regional integration officer, Mr. Avissara was responsible for strong growth of his organizations throughout the years. Mr. Avissara holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Human Nutrition from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from Edinburgh University.
