Stephen Levenstein

Biography

 Dr. Stephen Levenstein manages all aspects of the company’s research program from Phase 1 through Phase 4 studies as well as post – marketing and drug surveillance studies.  Dr. Levenstein spares no effort in creating expert clinical trial monitoring teams. To maintain the highest standards in clinical practice, he carefully selects only those with strong academic scientific backgrounds and proven experience in the clinical research arena. Previously, Dr. Levenstein served as Medical Director for Bristol-Meyers Squibb in South Africa for seven years before transferring to Israel in the same position. As Medical Director, he was responsible for the company’s research program from Phase 2 through to Phase 4 studies as well as post – marketing studies and surveys. He has experience in all of the major therapeutic areas. With the closure of BMS’s commercial operation in Israel, Dr. Levenstein moved with the entire medical department to the newly created Research Division of GCP Company. BMS continues to conduct clinical studies in Israel under the auspices of GCP Company.  Dr. Stephen Levenstein studied Medicine at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. He specialized in Pediatrics and worked in both private and hospital practice prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry.
