Yossi Bornstein

Biography

 Yossi Bornstein has created a highly esteemed, full-service, clinical research organization for international and local pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Under Mr. Bornstein’s leadership, GCP Company has grown from a small company focusing primarily on education to a key CRO, providing Mr. Yossi Bornstein is a highly respected entrepreneur with an outstanding record in both the local and international pharmaceutical industry. He was the General Manager of Bristol-Myers Squibb (Israel), until 1992 after which Mr. Bornstein established his own healthcare organization in Israel. His first company was Pharmateam Ltd., which specialized in representing international pharmaceutical, companies such as 3M Health Care, SmithKline Beecham, Shire, G.D. Searle and others with great success. In a relatively short period, Pharmateam achieved a multi-million dollar turnover and profitability before being sold in 2000. Today, Mr. Bornstein’s portfolio of companies is controlled through the holding company Shizim Ltd. and includes: GCP Clinical Studies Ltd focused on clinical trials; Coraltis Ltd a start-up biotech company and Biotis Ltd., which is the vehicle for registering and marketing international pharmaceuticals in Israel.
