Biography
Natalie Shapira is a researcher at IBM Research joining from the Enterprise Mobile group. She holds a M.Sc. with honors in computer science with an emphasis on algorithms and pattern matching, and a B.Sc. with honors in computer science and chemistry (double major) with an emphasis on quantum mechanics, both from Bar Ilan University. She was a focal point for sensors and indoor positioning in the Presence Insights (a Blumix service) and Presence Zones (WebSphere Application Server) products. She was part of a startup R&D group where she was a Linux kernel engineer and project manager. She was part of research groups and participates in conferences in Israel and abroad.
