Roni Cohen

Biography

Roni Cohen, Ph.D. Roni holds Ph.D. in biochemistry and environmental microbiology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Postdoc at the Bacteriology Department , University of Wisconsin, Madison. After his Postdoc, Roni joined Sigma Aldrich as a researcher, leading product and industrial processes development of proteins production. At 2006 Roni joined Galam as research group leader for new product (protein and dietary fibers) development. At 2010 Roni joined Hy Laboratories as the head of the Microbiology Service Laboratory. Roni lead the lab into the era of rapid microbiology services (certified GMP, ISO17025 and FDA). In 2014 Roni was appointed as the Head of the Microbiology and Chemistry Department, leading hylabs into the chemistry field with ICP-MS GMP lab. Recently Roni was appointed as the microbiology and technology CEO for HyProcess, hylabs’s subsidiary for bio-decontamination services.
