I am currently the Project Manager of the IBM Debating Technologies project. I lead the Invention Development Team (IDT) in the Cognitive Analytics & Solutions (CA&S) Department in HRL since 2008. The team is responsible with evaluating patent disclosures, and assisting inventors. In 2013 I was nominated IBM Master Inventor. My research interests include HCI, CSCW, and Social Analytics. I received my MSc in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel, in 1993, when I joined IBM. I have worked on visualization and awareness on the web, peer support and community building, and various e-Learning and social networks projects. I published over 25 research papers and filed over 15 patents. During 2014-2016 I served as one of the global Technical Assistants (TAs) for the VP, Cognitive Computing. During 2008-2015 I lead the bizdev activities of the Social Technologies & Analytics group, including EU H2020 and US Gov programs. I was active in several EU projects under FP7 ICT, and was the coordinator of the +Spaces (dubbed Positive Spaces) project, for Policy Simulation in Virtual Spaces.
