Biography

Odellia Boni is a researcher at IBM Research -Haifa. She focuses on applying mathematical techniques to real-life problems such as workforce management, chip floorplanning, cloud resources allocation, oil transport scheduling, system engineering, natural language processing etc. Prior to joining IBM, Odellia served as a lecturer at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and at Haifa University. She eceived her Ph.D. in Operation research from the technion, and also had degrees in Physics and Materials Engineering. Odellia's ongoing research interests of Odellia are in the fields of Constraints Satisfaction Problems (CSP), Optimization (especially Optimization under Uncertainty) and Natural Language Processing and Generation (especially text summarization).
