Amit Steinberg

Biography

Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder Amit brings to Innoviz over 15 years of research and development experience in algorithms and VLSI design in various startups and multinational corporations. Previous roles include leading the VLSI design effort of innovative FEC (forward error correction) algorithms at Novelsat as well as taking a pivotal part in transitioning a novel academic FEC algorithm and enabling its practical usage at Tosfun. Amit served 7 years in the elite technological unit of the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces, overseeing the complete integration of state-of-the-art communication systems as well as developing DSP algorithms for such systems. He holds a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, summa cum laude.
