Dr. Yossi Tal

Biography

 Expert in marine biotechnology, with more than 25 years experience in cultivation and production of aquatic organisms in close loop land-based systems.  Dr. Tal is a world leader in development of bio filtration systems for marine recirculating systems and wrote more than six patents related to this field. Formerly, Dr. Tal served as an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, biotechnology institute and published more than 30 scientific papers including chapters in book in the field of marine biotechnology. Dr. Tal received his PhD and M.S from the Hebrew university in Jerusalem, Israel.
