Robert Mcgorty

Biography

 McGorty, a financial healthcare services executive, received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island in 1976 and a master of business administration in finance from Boston University in 1982. In 1987, McGorty joined Fresenius Medical Care, the premier health care company focused on delivering the highest quality care to people with renal disease and other chronic conditions.  During his 25 year tenure which saw him rise to Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, McGorty gained a deep understanding of the health care environment including revenue cycle management, cost containment, market trends and regulations.  He also acquired extensive knowledge of dialysis, finance, revenue cycle, cost containment, managed care, high growth, mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, due diligence, integration, medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, government payment systems, DRO, SOX 404, SEC reporting, SAP, ROI, purchasing and procurement. ​
