Biography
Nir holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Following a two-year post-doctoral period in the Weizmann Institute, he entered the diagnostics industry in 1993 and for several years held the position of Chief Scientist of GamidaGen Ltd., then COO and later CEO of Savyon Diagnostics Ltd. Throughout his years in the diagnostics industry, Nir has advised a number of start-up companies on developing their strategies and products. He holds several industry-related patents.
