Dr. Carmel Rotschild

Biography

 Dr. Rotschild is a leading scientist, inventor and a world-renown expert in optical physics and optical engineering, with substantial industry and academic experience. For close to 20 years, Dr. Rotschild has gained meaningful hands-on experience in the design and development of highly sophisticated optical systems. He has earned both his B.Sc. in Optical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Optical Physics from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and has completed his post-doc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Research Interest

 Along his academic career, he has gained some of the most prestigious awards for young researchers, such as the Fulbright Scholarship. Dr. Rotschild is currently a faculty member at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. In addition to his position at RealView Imaging, he also leads the Optical Engineering studies at the Mechanical Engineering department at the Technion.
