Stanley Stern

Biography

Stanley Stern has over 30 years of experience as an investment banker, holding positions at Salomon Brothers, C.E. Unterberg, STI Ventures, and from 1982 to 1999 & 2004 to 2013, at Oppenheimer & Co., including as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking, Head of Technology, Israeli Banking and Financial Institutions Groups (FIG). Mr. Stern has served as a member of the board of directors at Soda Stream since February 2015 and as Chairman of the Board since December 2015. Since February 2013, Mr. Stern has served as the President of Alnitak Capital Partners, a private merchant bank and strategic advisory firm. Since December 2012, Mr. Stern has served as Chairman of the board of directors of AudioCodes Ltd. (Nasdaq:AUDC). He also currently serves on the board of directors of Ormat Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:ORA), Ekso Bionics (OTCQB:EKSO) and Tigo Energy, Inc. From 2012 until its sale in 2014, he served as a director of Given Imaging Ltd., a medical device company. From 2002 until 2013, Mr. Stern served as a director of Tucows, Inc., a publicly traded internet service provider, including as Chairman of the board of directors from 2002 until 2012. From 2005 until its sale in 2011, he served as a director and Chairman of the audit committee of Fundtech Ltd., and from 2004 until 2009, Mr. Stern served as a director of Odimo Inc. (DBA Diamond.com), an online jewelry vendor. Mr. Stern holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Queens College.
