Biography
I am a lecturer at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management. My main research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. My work focuses on developing intelligent systems that support people; the development of such systems requires both novel algorithmical approaches to solve hard computational problems, as well as the design of new interaction methods such that the systems fit well with people's capabilities and workflows. I'm particularly interested in applying the developed methods and systems in domains such as healthcare and education. Previously, I was a lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. I completed my PhD studies in computer science at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where I worked with Prof. Barbara Grosz.
