Milch Chair in Biomedical Engineering Sciences. • March 2010 – Aug. 2010: Professor (visiting, while on sabbatical from the Technion), Department of Biomedical Engineering, Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA. • Jan.2004 - Dec.2008: Dean, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.
Research Interest
Orthopaedic Biomechanics, Rehabilitation Engineering and Biomechatronics, including: Mechanics of the musculo-skeletal system; Muscle/Bone interactions; Muscle fatigue; Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) of excitable tissues; Musculo-Skeletal redundancies and mechanical indeterminacy: the rehabilitation viewpoint. Dr. Mizrahi is the laboratory Head of the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Engineering Biomechatronics Lab
