Dr.Michael Shapiro is currently affiliated to Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel, continuing research in the specialized scientific area of Mechanical Engineering.

Aerosol mechanics and air filtration. Aerosol measurements Two-phase flows, gas particle systems. Transport and dispersion in porous media. Mechanics of bulk solid and granular materials. Macrotransport processes (Generalized Taylor dispersion theory). Analytical methods in transport phenomena. Transport of contaminants in groundwater flows. Flow, heat and mass transfer in porous materials. Thermophysical properties and heat transfer in porous ceramic materials.
