Biography
Alexandra Chudnovsky is working as Professor of Geo Sciences Department, Tel Aviv University, Israel. She did her PhD in Geography, concentration in Remote Sensing/GIS, Tel Aviv University, 2002-2008. Her Research Interests are Monitoring the urban air quality using combined, passive and active remote sensing means, Anthropogenic vs Natural sources of pollution as defined based on remote sensing observations, statistical and spatial modelling, Development of spatial models based on satellite imagery to estimate exposure levels to air pollution, temperature and vegetation, Impact of military activity to dust storm intensity, Development of ecological indicators based on remote sensing methods to estimate environmental quality.
