Biography
Ehud Kamar is a Professor of Law and Director of the Tel Aviv University Batya and Isachar Fischer Center for Corporate Governance and Capital Markets Regulation. He is also a Research Associate at the European Corporate Governance Institute. Before joining TAU Law, Professor Kamar was a Professor of Law and Director of the University of Southern California’s Business Law Program. He teaches courses in corporations, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, quantitative empirical methods, and deal planning, and has published articles in leading scholarly journals such as Columbia Law Review, Cornell Law Review, Georgetown Law Journal, Stanford Law Review, University of Chicago Law Review, and Journal of Law, Economics and Organization. After receiving an LL.B. and an LL.M. summa cum laude from the Hebrew University, Professor Kamar continued his studies at Columbia University, where he earned another LL.M. and a J.S.D. He has practiced law in Israel and the United States, and has been a Visiting Professor at Harvard University, New York University, and the Hebrew University.
