He/She is currently working as a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering. He/she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. He/She is the member of many international affiliations. He/She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. Research Interest

Prof. Shaked heads the Biomedical Optical Microscopy, Nanoscopy and Interferometry Research Group, a large experimental group performing a multidisciplinary research involving optical engineering, imaging and sensing in biological systems, optical therapy, and biophysics. Specific interests of research include: biomedical optical microscopy and nanoscopy, optical interferometric systems (including interferometric phase microscopy and optical coherence tomography), optical imaging and therapy using nano-particles in biological cells, optical signatures of cancer and fertility problems, and three-dimensional optical imaging and holography for biomedical applications.
