Biography

He/She is currently working as a Professor in the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University , Israel.  He/she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. He/She is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Science and Technology. Research Interest

The research in our laboratory is focused on the investigation of glial cell and to clarify their role in neurological diseases. We suggest that targeting glia activation in different pathological scenarios may allow us to define common pathways to further understand the role of glia in neuroprotection . We are using three models: 1) Neurodegenerative disease – Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease 2) Stress condition –stroke. 3) Autoimmune disease – Multiple sclerosis.
