Ron Shamir

Biography

Ron Shamir is currently working as Professor of Computer Science department at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He did his PhD in Operations Research from University of California, Berkeley, USA (1981-1984). His research interests are Bioinformatics / Computational molecular biology Computational genomics, gene regulation, systems biology, genome rearrangements, human disease, integrative analysis of heterogeneous high throughput biological data, Bioinformatics education, Design and analysis of algorithms, Algorithmic graph theory.
