Neuro-Immunology, Cancer progression, Stress, Sex differences, PsychoNeuroImmunology (PNI) Research methods: RIA, ELISA, FACS, 51Cr NK cytotoxicity assay, RT-PCR, Various in vivo models of cancer progression in rodents Projects in the lab include: Preventing postoperative cancer metastasis using perioperative interventions to reduce surgical stress responses – a project in colorectal cancer patients, and basic studies in animal models. The effects of stress on the immuno-stimulating impacts of biological response modifiers (BRMs, e.g. IL-12, Poly I:C).
