Yossi Bukchin

Biography

Yossi Bukchin is working as Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tel Aviv University, Ramat Aviv 69978, ISRAEL. Member of Departmental Curriculum Committee, and Faculty Research Committee. His Current Projects are Diversity Maximization Approach for Multi-Objective Combinatorial Optimization, Decentralization Cost in Scheduling – A Game Theoretic Approach, Design and Operation of Dynamic Assembly Lines Using Work-Sharing, Backup strategy for robots' failures in an automotive assembly system.

Research Interest

Assembly systems design, Assembly line balancing, Facility design, Operational scheduling and lot streaming, Multi-objective optimization.
