Biography
Dr. Robert I. Fox, MD, serves as Chief of the Rheumatology Clinic at the Scripps-Ximed Medical Group at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA, specializes in the pathogenesis and treatment of Sjögren's syndrome. Dr. Fox has been involved in studies of therapies to treat Sjögren's syndrome for more than 15 years, including writing clinical protocols for pivotal trials. He has edited a number of journals and pursued research as a Principal Investigator in multicenter clinical trials and his own NIH-funded research programs. He served as Rheumatology Editor for Medscape and written more than 100 articles and editorials for practicing physicians and patients. He has been Member of Clinical Advisory Board at XTL Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. since February 13, 2017. Dr. Fox serves as a Member of the American College of Rheumatology'sAdvisory Board for Sjögren's Syndrome as well as the Advisory Board for the National Sjögren'sSyndrome Foundation.
