Alessandra Baroni

Biography

Born in Rome in 1976, medical degree and specialization in endocrinology and metabolism, cum laude, I have more than 10 years experience in pharmaceutical business, moving through different roles and projects (domestic and international) in four different companies. I started as a Medical Advisor in Pfizer, then FMA in Astra Zeneca and RSS in Allergan. I joined, in 2006, the Medical Affair of Pfizer and, across 6 years, I was involved in the medical management of many products in different therapeutic areas with a specific focus on Specialty Care. Then, in other Company, I was involved in medical fiel roles and I was the principal driver (related to MA) for launching of a number of product (Xiapex_Pfizer, Ozurdex in DME_Allergan).  I currently cover the role of Market Access Manager Diabetes Care Italy in Abbott. Dynamic, curious, passionate, working to facilitate access to new treatment/device options for patients and contribute to improve and or semplify their lives.
