Biography
José holds a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a Pharmaceutical Industry Specialist Title from the Portuguese Pharmaceutical College, and has over 18 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in both Manufacturing and Quality leading positions. With significant experience in contract manufacturing roles for pharmaceutical companies located in Europe, the US and Japan, he has been responsible for leading both Quality Area and clinical trial / commercial manufacturing Operations. Also acting as Qualified Person within a CDMO environment, he was responsible for the successful manufacture and release of numerous clinical trial projects as well as for the delivery of several commercial stage projects.
