Biography
Claudio joined ALA in 2016. In his previous position at Alenia Aermacchi – Finmeccanica (now Leonardo Company), Claudio covered the role of Sales and Program Manager for Boeing Programs, including the 787 in the Grottaglie, Foggia and Pomigliano Plants, managing contract execution and operation with The Boeing Company as aClient. Previously Claudio was Head of Procurement Subcontracting with the responsibility of sourcing, contractualizing and managing all aerostructures subcontracts for both Commercial (787, 777, 767, ATR, A321, A380, F2000) and Military (JSF, EFA, C27J, M436) programs on a global scale. Claudio holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Naples in Italy, where he also worked as assistant professor in General Aircraft Design, Flight Test and Wind Tunnel Tests. He graduated in International Business Engineering in a Finmeccanica Corporate MBA in Rome (“Fhink”). Claudio is certified CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) APICS (The Association for Operations Management) and he earned several certifications in PMP (Project Management Professional). Claudio appeared as a testimonial at ECATA (European Consortium for Advanced Training for the Aerospace) courses from 2014 to 2016 at TU in Delft (Nederland), KTH in Stockholm (Sweden) and Cranfield University (UK).
