Biography
Chief Executive Officer of SGD since October 2014. In 2015, Jürgen and his team developed the ‘Strategy 2020’, which has been a key milestone in the sale of SGD Pharma by Oaktree Capital to the JIC Group. From 2007 to 2014 Jürgen was an Executive Vice President with SCHOTT, leading the Pharmaceutical Systems business with more than €700m in revenues. During this time, he developed a growth strategy based on both organic growth and M&A. Prior to this, he spent more than 10 years in Corporate Strategy and M&A for SCHOTT and Henkel. Holds a Ph.D in law from the University of Hamburg (Germany)
