Biography
Filippo Trivella holds a Master in Chemical Engineering at the university of Pisa. He has been working in the process control and optimization for the process industry since 1993. From 1993 to 1998 he covered different roles in project execution and software development for an Italian control company that was acquired by Aspen Technology in 1998. Since 1998 until 2010 Filippo covered different roles in Aspen Technology, including leading more than 120 advanced process control projects for major companies in Europe and the Middle East. He also served as Business Development Manager for Europe and the Middle East where he participated in the closure of several multi million euros deals with major companies. Since 2008 until 2010 he has been the Director of Professional Services for both the advanced process control and engineering divisions at AspenTech. In this role he was responsible for the Profit and Losses of the groups and making sure that the Corporate objectives were met. Filippo is one of the founders of Alpha Process Control and is now managing the Company. He still is significantly involved in business development and project execution activities.
