Biography
"Fabio Massimo Grimaldi, born in Turin in 1955, after graduating in Civil Engineering-Transportation, he obtained a Master in Business Administration and in 1980 he entered the Order of Engineers of the Province of Turin. He has many years of managerial experience in private companies in the general construction industry and Aerospace sector. From 1987 to 2012 he was Managing Director and Attorney General of Impresa Rosso S.p.A. From 1998 to 2005 he was Vice President of I.T.P. Agency for inward foreign investment in Turin and Piedmont. From 2001 to 2006 President of MKTP – Marketing Territoriale S.r.l., a consultancy, training and provision of services firm operating in the field of territorial marketing. In 2001 he joined the aerospace sector becoming president of ICARUS S.c.p.A., a company formed for the implementation and management of the Engineering Center to support the ISS, International Space Station, where he remained until 2006, holding the post again in 2014. From 2005 to 2009 he has been CEO of ALTEC S.p.A., whose shareholders are now Thales Alenia Space and ASI, the Italian Space Agency. He also held the position of Director of the Foreign Trade Internationalization Piedmont CEIP PIEDMONT, a company established by public entities for the promotion of the region and for the companies’ internationalization. Director from 2006 to 2009 of SITO S.p.A. Interporto Turin From 2011 to 2014 he held the position of Managing Director of ENVIRONMENT PARK S.p.A., a public company that manages the science and technology park for the environment in Turin. He is founder and CEO of FMG Strategy, a strategic consulting firm for companies. Since July 2012, he is part of the Presidential Committee and a member of the Council of Assimpredil ANCE Lombardia. Since September 2014 he is member of the Turin Aerospace District. He was Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria and Ambassador of Turin appointed by the Mayor for the XX Olympic Winter Games of Torino 2006. In 2014 he is co-inventor of the patent “Plasma Sky”, development of an industrial process with the gas plasma, able to modify the functional properties of the surface of the ski bases, to improve the speed."
