Biography
Dr. Steinhagen is a senior professional with over 17 years’ experience acquired in large and medium size pharma industries. He joined Aptuit from Grünenthal Germany, where he acted as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Drug Discovery since 2009. His accomplishments include a pronounced track record in multiple therapeutic areas as well as establishing several R&D partnerships, including the build-up of a novel therapeutic indication. Before joining Grünenthal, Dr. Steinhagen served for seven years at Sanofi-Aventis in positions of increasing responsibility in medicinal chemistry and started his career as medicinal chemist at Bayer, Germany.
