Biography
Piero Gnudi (born in 1938, 79 years) was appointed Board Member of Astaldi Group in 2014. An economics graduated, he served as the Italy's Minister of Tourism and Sport in the Monti Cabinet from November 2011 to April 2013. He also held the position of Chairman of Enel S.p.A., Enel Distribuzione S.p.A., Wind S.p.A., Terna S.p.A. and Emittenti Titoli S.p.A. He was also Board Member of Unicredit S.p.A. and Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A., Member of the Executive Committee of the Board for the Relationships between Italy and the United States, Member of the Executive Board and of the Executive Council of Confindustria. Currently, he is Chairman of Credito Fondiario S.p.A. and of Nomisma Società di Studi Economici S.p.A., as well as Member of the General Board and of the Executive Committee of Assonime and Court-appointed Manager of Ilva S.p.A.
