Biography

G. Paolo RizzardiGeneral Manager Gian Paolo Rizzardi has about 20 years experience in research&development, regulatory affairs and business management in the fields of cell and gene therapy, cancer and infectious diseases in both academia and industry. During the years spent in university Institutes in Milan, London and Lausanne he contributed to the HIV/AIDS development of immunomodulatory therapeutic strategies ( Pfizer Prize for 1999). At MolMed since 2001, he held various positions of increasing responsibility, and developed a solid experience in research, development and production of cell&gene therapy and peptide-based vascular targeting therapy. He is author of more than 75 peer-reviewed publications and he has served as university lecturer in internal medicine, immunology, infectious disease and biotechnology in Italy, Switzerland and the U.S. Gian Paolo Rizzardi received his MD from the School of Medicine of the University of Milan in 1991, and was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1996, in accordance with the European Union educational programmes..
