Biography
PETER CHEN PROFESSOR U.S. CITIZEN NON-EXECUTIVE MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS Peter Chen studied chemistry at the University of Chicago and in 1987 received a doctorate from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He then served as an assistant professor (1988 to 1991) and as an associate professor (1991 to 1994) at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since September 1994 he has been a full Professor of Physical-Organic Chemistry at ETH Zurich. From 2007 to 2009 he was Vice President of Research at ETH Zurich.
