"He is working in the field of the Biophotonic. In particular he devoted most of his research time to the optical mammography. He is performing a clinical trial in collaboration with the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) which has two aims: the characterization of breast lesions and the non-invasive assessment of the breast density, since it is a risk factor for the development of the breast cancer.
