Biography
In 1988 Layla Pavone began her professional career in the Marketing Department of SPI Società per la Pubblicità in Italia (Company for Advertising in Italy) by Gruppo Publicitas. From 1993 to 1994 she worked in Poland for the advertising agency’s startup operating within the newspaper Zycie Warszawy and also on the launch of the syndicated television Poland 1, owned by the Italian publisher Nicola Grauso. In 1995 she contributed to the startup ’Video Online’, the first ISP in Italy, focusing “in a pioneering way” in the area of ​​marketing and online advertising. In 1997 she joined Publikompass, creating the first advertising agency representing a network of 35 sites (such as Virgilio, ItaliaOnLine, Finanzaworld, Internet Bookshop, La Stampa, etc…).
