Biography
In his role as senior scientist and expert in urban entomology for Ecolab, Dr. John Barcay leads Pest Elimination Pesticide Evaluation and Development Projects, specializing in the development of comprehensive and effective programs for the integrated management of pest infestations with minimum pesticide use. Barcay has been working at Ecolab since 1990, serving as a scientist and leader of the Ecolab pesticide program as well as a leading entomologist for the company. The dr. Barcay is a member of the National Pest Management Association, the Entomological Society of America, the American Mosquito Control Association, the Gamma Sigma Delta (a company that recognizes merit in the field of agriculture), the Society for Vector Ecology and Pi Chi Omega a professional group for urban disinfestation, and the Independent Organic Inspectors Association.
