Biography
Kirsten is a microbiologist with over 20 years of experience in researching and testing antimicrobial products for skin care and disinfectants. As a leading senior program for Ecolab, it provides consulting services in the areas of pathogens associated with healthcare, sterile treatment, skin health and environmental hygiene. Kirsten's competence lies in the strategies for controlling pathogens associated with health care in the environment and hands. He is author of over 30 articles and chapters of textbooks, has presented several posters and is inventor of patents in the field. It also discusses a number of topics related to health care for hospital systems and purchase groups organizations such as APIC, AORN, IAHCSMM, AHE and ALM.
