Biography
Ford has conducted extensive microbiological research for the industry and has published scientific papers on Listeria monocytogenes. He is a founding member of Food Protection Committee of the Food Marketing Institute, has been three times Counselor of the Conference for Food Protection and collaborates with the National Restaurant Association. He is a member of the International Association for Food Protection and the Professional Development Group for Retail Food Safety within the same association. Ford, who holds a bachelor's degree in microbiology at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and the public health master at Benedictine University, is a certified food safety expert.
