Biography
Keith W. Newman is Vice President and General Counsel for GE Power. Keith began his career with GE in 1996 as Transactions & Finance Counsel for GE Corporate in Fairfield, Connecticut. Since then, he has held the title of General Counsel for GE Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Money, Plastics and Lighting. Prior to joining GE, Keith was an Associate at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore from 1987 to 1996. He received his Juris Doctor and Masters’ in Business Administration degrees from the University of Texas in 1986 and his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 1981. Keith currently resides in London.
