Biography
Dr. Dave P.Milzman is an Professor of Emergency Medicine and currently serves in multiple roles at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is an Assistant Dean for Student Research, Research Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Washington Hospital Centre of Georgetown University,Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine, and Medical Student Senior Advisor Director of Brain Trauma Research .He is also an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Georgetown University. He served in various teaching, research, and practice roles with several schools and hospitals in the metropolitan area. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University, and completed his residency training in Emergency and Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Milzman is one of two non-lawyer members of the Commission. On June 3, 2014, the City Council confirmed the appointment of Dr. David P. Milzman as a member of the Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure for a term to expire May 5, 2017.
