Biography
HE is a medical doctor with a solid health economic and managerial background and a comprehensive approach to health issues. Since the beginning of my career I was particularly interested in one of the hottest topics in international healthcare: rationing health care resources in public and private setting. He has developed my professionalism by challenging myself in managing and rationing health care resources both in limited resources setting (managing health care services and projects in developing countries) and in the Italian National Health System inside the Emilia-Romagna Regional Health & Social Agency (evaluating the impact of emerging health technologies upon the Regional Health System). I am currently interested in growing my professional experience inside the pharmaceutical/medical devices industrial sector, in order to acquire a comprehensive knowledge and a better understanding about the relationship between the pharmaceutical industry, the biomedical sciences, and government regulators.
