Biography
Bob Foster has been an associate professor at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management since 1984. He leads the Global Access Program featuring 118 Italian companies discovering the US market over the past several years has taught high technology strategy, business plan development, and management consulting. Mr. Foster has been a representative at the highest level of companies such as Goldsworthy Engineering, Ellison Robotics, Xerox Computer Systems, Thomas Bros. Maps and Thinque Systems. Over the years, IACCW and the Turin CC have collaborated in introducing 118 Italian Companies seeking to scout the US market with a wide range of internationalization services. Part of the success in that equation has been UCLA’s renown GAP program delivering market research and business plans by UCLA’s MBA students, in turn broadening the range of career opportunities for them. IACCW plans to facilitate greater visibility of the GAP Program to other regions in Italy, while continue to support these Italian companies by coordinating B2B meetings with key partners, developing a presence in the West Coast and spinning bilateral delegations for future projects. Bob has been at the helm of the GAP program and kindly provided a slide presentation planned for the end of our meeting today.
