Biography
Fabio Mammano is the Director of the CNR Institute of Cell Biology and Neurobiology (IBCN) located in Rome (Italy), Honorary Professor in the Department of Biomedical Science (BMS) at the University of Sheffield (UK) and Visiting Professor at ShanghaiTech University, Shanghai Institute for Advanced Immunochemical Studies (SIAIS). The majority of his research interests focus on sensory and signal transduction in the inner ear and, more recently, encompassed signaling mechanisms in diabetes and cancer.
