Biography
Klaus Lässer (1964) studied civil engineering in Innsbruck, Austria and engineering management at Cornell University in Ithaca, USA. After a first professional assignment at the Channel Tunnel, UK, he worked for Emch+Berger in Switzerland for several years. While with Emch+Berger he was involved in the design work of the Lötschberg Base Tunnel. After moving to ILF, he became the managing director of the Austrian ILF company in 1998. Since 2007, he has served as the head of the Group Management Board. Klaus Lässer is the oldest son of Pius Lässer. He is married, has three children, and enjoys mountain biking in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.
