Biography
Graduated from Voghera's Lycée "Grattoni" in 1980, graduated in Hydraulic Civil Engineer in Pavia in 1987, Member of the Pavia Engineers' Association in 1988, Researcher at the Department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pavia's studies in 1990, Associate Professor at the same location in 2000 Associate Professor at the University of Insubria in 2003. Ordinary Professor of Environmental-Health Engineering (SSD ICAR / 03) in 2008. Former Vice President of ? National Association of Sanitary-Environmental Engineering (ANDIS).
Research Interest
Research interests: Waste water treatment: removal of pollutants in trace, advanced treatments. Solid Waste: Integrated management and planning, composting, anaerobic digestion, incineration, controlled landfills. Contaminated sites: bioregion. Air pollution: managing smelly emissions and handling them, handling smoke from incinerators and industrial emissions. Author of over 90 publications.
