Biography

June 2001 - He holds a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Insubria, discussing an experimental thesis titled "Analyzing spectra in near and medium infrared: a multivariate approach to obtain qualitative and quantitative data". The work was done in part at the Analytical Chemistry Research Laboratory of the University of Insubria (Como) and partly at the "Rovira i Virgili" University of Tarragona (Spain). October 2001 - Licensing for the Exercise of Chemistry through State Examination. November 2001- October 2004 - Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry. The development and application of both quantitative and qualitative multivariate and multi-way methods for data analysis. This research line embraces various scientific disciplines including environmental sciences, catalysis, microbiology, food sciences, sensory and consumer sciences, cultural heritage sciences and archeology, the petrochemical field.
