Biography
Graduated in Biological Sciences in 1992 at the University of Milan. From 1992 to 1995 he has been a Ph.D. in Research in Natural and Environmental Sciences by conducting research in the eco-ethological field, then a fellow and associate of the Department of Structural and Functional Biology at the Università dell'Insubria, headquartered in Varese. From 1998 to 2003 University Researcher of the same Department. From 2004 to 20011 Researcher at the Department of Environment and Health-Security of the University of Insubria, titular for the Biogeography, Analysis and Management of Earth's Fauna, and Environmental Data Acquisition Techniques (Zoology Module) for the Course of Degree in Natural Resources Analysis and Management (headquarter of Varese) and for the Interfaculty of Science of the ' Environment and Nature and Master's Degree in Environmental Science (Como). It conducts research in the field of zoogeography, behavioral ecology, man-fauna interaction and conservation of rare or threatened species or of management interest, especially of small and medium Mammals; he was also involved in ethnological research of lonely imenitors. He has participated in the design and carrying out of research projects on ecology and conservation of fauna and in particular in prealpine and alpine environments. He also participated in research projects in Africa (Tanzania), in particular on the study, management and conservation of Rodents and Carnivores. Lomb.
