Biography
Graduated in Computer Science at the University of Milan (1985), PhD in Computer Science (1990). Researcher at the Faculty of Science MM.FF.NN. of the University of Milan, with an affiliation with the Department of Information Sciences (1990-2001). Since 2001 Associate Professor for the INF / 01 field at the Faculty of Science MM.FF.NN. of the Università degli Studi dell'Insubria (headquarters of Varese) with an affiliation with the Department of Computer Science and Communication.
Research Interest
Areas of interest: theory of formal languages, symbolic calculus, algorithms, combinatorial. Témák: analysis of property of specified languages ​​through equation systems, algorithmic aspects for formal symbolic manipulation problems, development of efficient algorithms for casual and exhaustive generation of combinatorial structures.
